Process To Submit Your Blog To Apple News Publisher

Submit Your Blog To Apple News Publisher
With iOS 9, Apple is all set to launch Apple news that is similar to Flipboard. As a blogger & publisher, you can submit your blog to be a part of Apple news app. By submitting your blog to Apple news, you will be reaching out to millions of iOS users (iPhone, iPad & iPod). I have just finished submitting ShoutMeLoud to Apple news, and you can do that too.
In this tutorial, you will learn how you can submit your blog to iOS 9 news app. You can read the review of the upcoming app here, which will give you a fair idea of how your content will be displayed.

How to become a publisher at Apple news:

The process is easy & you can submit your blog in the next 5 minutes.
  • Head over to Apple news publisher page here.
  • You can login with your Apple ID & if you don’t have one, click on Signup at the bottom to create one right away.
  • Once you are logged in, you need to accept the End User License Agreement for News.
  • Next step is to setup the Publisher information, which is pretty straight-forward.
  • Create new channel: This is where you will add the information related to your blog or news website. You can create different channels if you have more than one blog.
  • You can click on Specify territories to make your content available on specific countries only. By default, all countries are selected. Use this feature if you don’t want your content ton be visible in certain territories. Click on Submit
  • Submit RSS feed: This is the final step where you need to submit your blog RSS feed. This is not mandatory but I recommend to fill it up. You can follow this guide to create an RSS feed for your blog. Soon Apple is coming up with Apple news format that might replace RSS feed feature from the submission process. (More on this in upcoming artcile).
  • Click on next, and last step is to add your brand logo. Here is the requirement for adding logo:
  • Full-color transparent PNG
  • Required height: 256px
  • Recommended Width: up to 2048px (8:1)
  • Maximum width: up to 2560px (10:1)
  • Complete logo guideline here.
  • This is not mandatory but I highly recommend you to complete this step for higher brand visibility.
  • Once done, Apple news publisher team will review your submission in few days. You will also get an email after the successful submission.
  • If you have multiple blogs, you can click at the top & click on create a new channel to add more blogs.
As a blogger, I’m pretty excited to see my blog reaching out to a wider audience with the help of Apple news app. I will share the stats & more details once iOS 9 will be launched & HowToFixGuide starts getting traffic from Apple News app.

Important information about Apple news publisher:

Here is one important announcement from Apple which I saw after submitting my first blog:
  • You can monetize your content on Apple news using iAd. The revenue distribution is 70% to you & 30% to Apple.
  • You can also keep 100% revenue by selling your ads directly. I don’t have enough detail as of now on this part.
  • A company, a publisher, a Blogger can submit their digital property in Apple news.
  • Every channel has section that you can use to organize your content. You can have a separate section for your categories. If you use this feature, you need to have a minimum of two sections.
  • Currently, they are accepting submission from English language only.
  • Your RSS feed needs to be full & not partial. Read more about RSS best practices here.
  • You can read more details about Apple news publisher & FAQ here.
For now, you should leave everything & submit your English blog to Apple news. It would hardly take 5 minutes, and I’m assuming that Apple news will be a game changer for many publishers in the coming days.

Difference Between Pageview And Visit of a Blogger or Website

Difference Between Visit And Pageview of a Blogger or Website
Webmasters are often confused while analyzing their web analytics dashboards. Many fail to understand the basic difference between “visits” and “pageviews”.Read on to learn how visits differ from pageviews.
All web analytics software measures different parameters differently (including visits and pageviews). The stats may or may not be similar.

For example: The pageviews shown in your Blogger dashboard might differ from what is shown in the Google analytics.
You’ll have to rely on one web analytics software and improve your scores or statistics. Otherwise, you might get confused with different softwares and tools showing different results.

What is visit?

Visit is the number of visitors visiting your website. Visits are the number of individual sessions of your website visitors.
A single user may be responsible for multiple visits. If a user has your site open for sometime in their browser, and return after a while, it might be considered as a start of a new session. The time maybe variable for different analytics softwares.

What is page view?

Page views represent the number of times web pages are accessed by your site visitors. If a single visitor refreshes a web page or accesses many pages of your site, each instance counts as an another page view.
Whenever a page is loaded by any visitor of your site, it will be counted as an additional page view.

What is the difference between visit and pageview?

When a person accesses your site it is called as Visit. On the other hand, Page View is the number of pages that the person navigates during his visit.
One visitor can generate several Page Visits within a single Visit.
Conclusion
Visits and page views are both different. More the page views and the amount of time spent on your page by your site visitors determines if your audience is interested in what you’re serving.

Killer Way To Reduce Bounce Rate of Your Blogger Blog

Reduce Bounce Rate of Your Blogger Blog or Website
Bounce rate is the percentage of your site visitors who leave your site after viewing only one page. Having an extremely high bounce rate means your site visitors hardly navigate more than one page of your site.Following are the six smart strategies that you should use to keep your visitors on your pages longer. These strategies will help you to decrease bounce rate of your website.

1. Use larger fonts.

According to Smashing magazine, using fonts smaller than 16 pixels can decrease your website’s readability. Your site’s font size should be larger than or equal to 16 pixels.
Also, your site should be readable across multiple devices – desktop or mobile.
The line length, height and font size should be balanced.

2. Open external links in a new window or tab.

Having external links that open in the same window or tab will take your readers away from your site. To keep them longer on your site make external links open in a new window.
However, you can have internal links open in the same window or tab as it would point to an another page on your own site. Thus, reducing the bounce rate.
Setting all the externals links within your content to open in a new window will keep your readers retained on your site.

3. Interlink your posts.

Internal links are the links which points to a web page of your own site and not to an external website.
Having two or three internal links within your posts which keep your readers or visitors engaged with your content. This will ensure that they read or open more than one page and thus reduces the bounce rate of your blog.
A quick SEO tip: Try to interlink higher in your posts.

The links placed within the first two paragraphs of your post are likely pass more link juice compared to the ones which are placed towards the bottom of the post.

4. Include speed bumps.

Making your posts more scannable increases the chances of your readers to stay longer at your site and explore it further.
You might be wondering, what are speed bumps? Speed bumps are nothing but the sub-headings, bold, italics, etc. that catch your reader’s eye.
You can make important points as your sub-headings. Including the sub headings will force your readers to slow down, stop and read it.

5. Have a good site design.

A simple website design is much better than the one which is overwhelming and confusing. Right color combinations and easy navigation contribute to a great site design.
Do the following to convince your visitors to stay longer through the power of your site’s design alone:
1. Use a responsive layout.
2. Do not put up too many Ads above the fold.
3. Avoid too much text and poor formatting.
4. Use sub-headings and larger fonts.

6. Reduce your website loading time.

“The percentage of users users who hit a page and then quit that page (i.e. bounce) before the page even loads” is actually an incorrect definition of bounce rate.
According to Rigor, If the page does not load, or if the user bounces from a slow page load, the analytics platform won’t register the user at all.
Your website’s analytics measurements begin only after the website is loaded. People who leave your website even before the pages load will not register as bounces.
But to play safe, always work to reduce your website loading time because people leaving your site even before it gets loaded will not be considered as a bounce but will surely decrease the number of readers of your site.
Over to you!

Top Significant Differences Between A Website And A Blog

Differences Between A Website And A Blog
Many online as well as offline businesses these days are preferring to make a blog instead of a website. What exactly distinguishes a blog from a website? And which one is more effective? Read on to find out 15 significant differences between a website and a web log (blog).

A website and a blog can be distinguished from each other on the basis of the following.

1. Frequency Of Updates.

A blog is updated and new posts are published regularly. Mostly bloggers aim to write on trending topics. The posts or articles on a blog are most of the times informative.
Whereas a website is rarely updated. And it may contain information about services or products. A website might have a static landing page.

2. Dynamic And Static Content.

Blogs have dynamic content. Posts are displayed on the home page in the reverse chronological order. Posts written on a blog may contain date and time stamps. Design and functionality updates are frequent to keep the blog new and fresh all the time.
Websites have static home pages which are hardly updated. Once the site is designed and developed, design and functionality updates are infrequent.

3. Search Engine Ranking.

Blogs appear higher on Google search engine results page (SERP) than websites. This is so because one of the most important ranking factors for Google is “Freshness of content“. The more frequently a web property is updated, the higher the chances of it appearing higher in the SERPs.
Although websites are rarely updated but they too have fair chances of appearing higher on Google if they contain relevant and best content.

4. Which Is More Conversational?

Of course Blogs are considered more informal and conversational. Blogs have posts which are written in a conversational tone. Also many blogs have commenting systems installed on them for the purpose of encouraging discussions and conversation.
Many business websites are adding blogs in order to avoid any kind of communication gap between the visitors and the business owners.
Some blogs as well as websites add forums to encourage reader’s/customer’s feedback, discussion, support or help, collaborative tasks, inquiry or complaints.

5. Communication Style.

As discussed under the above sub heading, blogs have conversational tone and they are meant for discussions. If blogs don’t contain any kind of interactions they are considered as ghost house.
The key to run a successful blog is to have quality discussions or create interactive content. Whereas a website might or might not give importance to engagement and discussions. But website owners must surely take customer satisfaction seriously.

6. Information.

Blogs contain extensive information about whichever niches they are concerned with. The information on the blogs are regularly updated or changed based on the recent happenings. Whereas websites may only contain information about a particular company, business, service or product.

7. Marketing.

Blogs can be marketed using inbound marketing as well as outbound marketing. Inbound marketing is nothing but permission-based marketing. It relies of getting customers attracted to the service. Marketers help, add value, educate or entertain audiences. As blogs are interactive in nature so they facilitate a two-way process. This is the reason why almost all the blogs ask their readers to subscribe in exchange of their content.
Whereas websites mainly adopt outbound marketing. Outbound marketing is forceful in nature. It is mainly done using paid advertisements, cold calls or e-mails which rarely add value. If site owners wish to make use of inbound marketing, they might consider adding blogs to their business sites.

8. Money spent on Marketing.

Blogs concentrate on providing value to the readers. Hence, blogs have tendency to attract massive visitors without any money spent on advertising. On the other hand, websites require adopting paid advertising to sell their services or products as they might have no value adding features.

9. Community.

A blog might have a bigger and better community than a website. As mentioned before, blog encourages interactions so blog readers might also prefer interacting among themselves than to the actual author.
In contrast to a blog, website visitors can only interact with the owners. To stimulate community feeling, websites might add forums or blogs.

10. Setup Cost.

Blogs can easily be created using free or charged services like Blogger, WordPress, Tumblr, Typepad, etc.
A website might require to be coded by a professional coder who can build it as per requirements. Blogs have a pre-structured layout and template. Major design chances may require installing new theme or tweaking all the codes.

11. Expertise.

You don’t need to be an expert to maintain and backup your blog; thanks to the content management systems.
On the other hand, websites might or might not be made using content management system. So the level of expertise required to maintain a website may differ based on the basic building blocks used to create the site.

12. Blogs are websites.

All the blogs are websites but all websites are not blogs. Websites can add blogs to get readers and credibility.

13. Relationship Building.

Since blogs are based on the concept of permission marketing and adding value, bloggers build great relationships with their readers.
Websites fail to establish quality and dedicated relationships most of the times because of the lack of commenting system and value adding capability (other than by selling services or products).

14. You can add Widgets to a Blog.

Plugins or widgets like Recent Posts, Popular posts, Recent comments, Top commentators, Engagement widgets can be added to a blog. Different plugins or Widgets facilitate different purposes.
For example: Recent Posts widget arranges the blog posts in a reverse chronological order (latest to oldest) on the sidebar or footer of the blog.
You cannot add such widgets to a website because there exists no posts.

15. Blogs have a RSS FEED.

Since blogs are updated regularly (maybe daily, weekly or monthly) they attract readers. Readers are asked to subscribe in order to receive latest blog updates through an emailing system which is technically known as RSS subscription.
Over to you!
I hope you can now easily differentiate between a website and a blog. If you have more differences or criterion on which websites and blogs can be distinguished, do let us know in the comments below. The price of Siteground is reasonable and with industry standard, in terms of hosting they are par excellence. Do remember, you need to pick a domain name at the time of signing up for the hosting.

At-times, a newbie, misses out to chomp on such deal, and end up paying extra for the domain name. This may not be a huge saving for others, but I wouldn’t want you to miss on extra $11 saving.

Important things to consider

Things To Do Before Posting An Article On Blog

6 Things To Do Before Posting An Article On Blog
Real bloggers are busy people. With an online earning business to look after and to keep providing the reasons to the readers to follow the blog, they are surely one of the most dedicated workers who have to look after their business all by themselves. If you are a blogger and want to make blogging as your primary career, then you really need to understand certain principles of this domain. Creating a blog, choosing a template and getting a hosting domain are obviously the first few basic steps but it is important to make it clear that no matter how beautiful your blog is, you still have a long way to earn some dollars.
What we will be briefing you on today is about the fact that once you are done with choosing a topic for your post and writing it effectively, it is now time to show your technical skills, which you should have as a sole owner of your business. What newbie bloggers often forget to take care of are the pre-publishing steps that are really essential to make your post something that readers want to see. Here are 6 important things you need to do (and if you do, then you must check them at least) before posting your article on your blog.

1) Follow the right format

No matter whichever platform you choose for your blog, the text editor of these sites is really not for the professional bloggers. Bloggers, who know this, obviously switch to its alternative which is Windows Live Writer and yes this application of Microsoft fairly deals with the needs of a professional blog too.
Once you are done with your post, you should frame your content according to the format that is been introduced to your readers. This means that you should provide your headings and sub-headings their respective tags so that they follow the pattern. What most bloggers forget to do is to align their content and do not ‘Justify’ the paragraphs, leaving them with an untidy look.
Remember always that readers perceive from what you show them. A neat outlook will give you a neat impression too.

2) Proofread your content

No need to elaborate this one though, still it is important to mention the significance of proofreading your work before posting it to your blog. As a writer I know this pretty well that writing about 2000 words daily makes you an imperfect typist who makes unlimited spelling mistakes, often skipping the punctuations and things like that. However, whether I do it or you, the result is almost same, that is, we will end up losing our precious readers who judge us and our work with our words.
Make it your habit to spend at least 10 minutes on reading your written content after you are done with the write-up.

3) Maintain relevancy when choosing pictures

You would have left this page after reading the heading only if there would have been an image of a salesman selling t-shirts with a label ‘add me on Facebook’ on it. It is obvious that readers assume things all their own and one of the major contributors in this process are the images and captions of videos that you choose to support your content.
Always choose a relevant image that goes completely well with the theme of your article.

4) Find Keywords

Google analytics and the search engines are keyword oriented. Keep yourself in the place of your potential reader. Think about what your potential visitors would type on their search engine and use those words in your headings, your first introductory paragraph. Keywords play a very important role in attracting readers to your blog. Use simple words that are human-understandable. You must be having a great vocabulary, but make it clear that you are not giving an English paper; it’s a serious business here!

5) Set Permalink

Permalink is the link your post has. It can be taken as an identity card of your post. Your blogs have a default permalink set for you. However, editing it and making it sensible is a good practice.

6) Preview your post

It is a visual proofread, that is how I take it. Sometimes human eye skip small mistakes but when they are published they become eye-catching enough to earn a bad name for you.
Always preview your posts before posting them.
These were the 6 simple things that you should adopt and include them in your blogging schedule. They make difference, try it!

4)Spread the word about your blog

There are multiple eminent social networking sites like Linkedln, Twitter, Facebook etc, with millions of people using them daily, use the opportunity, make use of it because these are going to spread the word about your blog as they are acting as “content Distributors”. Track your contents post on different sites and share your view, be active in discussions, stay visible to your readers, make possible memorable impression on your followers. Be honest in what you do, following the industry luminaries, connectors and influences, as social media is single largest source of traffic. They will surely love your attention.

5)Analyze and evaluate

“Practice makes the man perfect”, but simply writing and jumbling words on blog won’t bring the perfection. You need to be analytic, skeptical and curious about your writing and wondering how many people like or going through your content so you could make changes or up gradations according to it. Your job is not to write! Your job is to drag the traffic and grow the tree. You can only do that if you keep your eyes open. Install Google Amalytic, it is going to help you to see what others think about what you think.

6)Catch the eye

What makes your writings attractive, sight catching, beautiful and most importantly preferred to read first? If you think you are an amazing writer and have a better style than others, than forget it! They are attracted by those cheesy pictures with link back licensing and outstanding colorful graphics. A picture speaks thousand words, that’s the strategy you have to adopt. Once you catch the eye of traffic they will give time to your words.

7)Keyword research

What’s most important for your blog is to get easily navigated and it is only possible if words or phrases typing by the people in search engine show your article as one of the results. The many times your articles are revealed over the research by audience, there are greater chances to catch an eye of public. You need to learn tactics, words and phrases which audience could possibly think of in relation to your context and then submit those words. It is an important element for your blog publicity, use eg AdWord Keyword Tool to find such words and get ready to be obvious.

8)Posting references

“Give and take” is perfectly implies on the web. While traveling through another blog, you encounter a question over which you have done enough research, then do not hesitate to post the link of your own material but in a way that is not manipulative, by this move you potentially draw visitors to your content and secondly it is more humble to referencing the contents of others as it is one of the best ways we earn recognition.

9)Be active

Social sharing communities are perfect place for you to be gregarious, famous and earn recognition.  Be active at social networking sites together with the sites concerning knitting (Ravelry), News/politics (Newsvine),etc. to aware and to tailor your content on better lines to meet the demand and guidelines to stay survive among the best.

10)Guest Blog

It’s hard to make someone believe to trust on your skills when you are a new bee and it’s even hardest to convince the bloggers to allow you to post on their sites but it is a fantastic way to spread your brand to new folks who have never seen your work before and this can be use to earn early links and references back to your site.

11) Incorporate Great Design Into Your Site

First impression is the last impression it’s not just set of words but a hardline fact. Even if you’re content lack experience or research a bit according to the demands of the topics or viewers if your presentation skills are remarkable then your mistakes will be overlooked and you will be looked upon as a professional blogger. When readers look at a blog, the first thing they judge is how it “feels” from a design and UX perspective. Allocating more budgets or trying it at least will ultimately lead to reach your goal in less time. Design, layout, friendly use and site maps properly made all these are captivating policies of a blogger for its viewer.

Bloggers Must Follow Laws To Avoid Getting Sued

5 Laws To Avoid Getting Sued
Preferring to start a blog over all the other options to choose as a career requires you to first understand the fact that although blogging is the best example of being your own boss, You need to consider a lot of legal points while taking it professionally. It’s a pity that most of the bloggers do not care about legal aspects that can sue them, turning the business upside down. Moreover, even though the laws exist regarding blogging, the legal forces are way too busy in keeping a track of Billions of sites that are violating these laws each day. Nevertheless of these neglected realities, A blogger should know how far the law has given him rights of protection of his interests and at the same time, his responsibilities while running an online business.

Law 1: How to Deal with Your Content been Stolen?

Once the world will get to know about how precious your content is (if it is really), few of your readers will praise and without any doubt, few of them will copy it and use it on their own blog. Smart earning Methods have been a victim of this kind of stealing too. I found my articles been copied by a blog, (name not mentioned deliberately) where even the images with our logo. Anyway, so in such situations what you need to is:
If you feel about caring of this matter then have the following options:
· Email the site owner and tell him about copyright infringement asking them to remove your content from his site.
· If the person would be a decent one, he would probably apologize and do what he should, but there are equal possibilities that the reply might be an indecent one.
· For dealing with such people, be ready to spend some money then, inform them about a legal action will be taken against them.
· If you are too obsessed with your write ups then you can sue the owner for violating copyrights policy which you get the moment you publish your content automatically.
· Also discourage people from stealing your work by placing a copyright icon on your blog.

Law 2: Protecting Personal information

With the business getting online, protecting information is getting difficult day by day. As a professional blogger, you need to take care of the personal information that your readers share on your blog, like their names, email addresses, websites, etc. You need to take it as a responsibility and must learn more on how to protect this information with secure pages. Risking your readers’ privacy concerns might decrease your website’s traffic considerable and at the same time, you can be sued by any of your reader if things get miserable for him just because of your carelessness. Beware!

Law 3: Learn about deep linking

As a blogger what you have been doing up till now is you must be linking different sites that are relevant to your content in order to give weight to your views. Did you know it was illegal? Let me tell you how. What bloggers do is they link only that page of another site that has the content which he want his users to see for verification. It actually means that the blogger is giving short path to read someone else’s content, which is wrong. The owner of the other site can take it as trespassing and is eligible to take action against you.
Always link the main site if linking is way too necessary.

Law 4: Using Images is legal?

Using an image been copied from internet is NOT legal. What bloggers do is, they just go to Google image, type some keywords to get the best matched image and use it in their posts. What you can do to get a hold on some images without breaking laws is either you may take the permission of the owner of the website from where you want to copy the image. Next option is that, you can create your own image by editing those images. Linking to the original source is also a good practice that pleases the original owner as well. But what we will suggest you as the best option will be using images from the sites that do not have copyrights like flickr.

Law 5: owning user-developed content

Once your content is posted, now you need to watch out how the readers take it. It’s always a good and professional practice to state dos and don’ts in your site’s terms and services. Tell your readers that:
· You have all the freedom to deal with their comments as you please.
· You will remove them if someone requests (this is really up to you).
· You will not manipulate them or delete them without having a good reason to.
· They should share minimum amount of information so you can avoid anonymous comments.
· You will delete all comments if and when you expire your blog.
Every business is run on some rules and regulations so that things go smoothly without any possible problems arising in the business. Do take care of the above stated laws to ensure happy blogging.
Peace

Bloggers Should Stop Doing Quickly

Things Bloggers Should Stop Doing Quickly
When it comes to choose blogging as your major career to earn your livings, you need to be extra careful with the strategies you adopt. It’s true that blogging is one of the best examples of a successful entrepreneurship, where you are free to share all your creativity and can generate the corresponding revenue for yourself, at the same time, governing your habits is equally essential as to monitor your blog. People think that blogging is all about creating a blog, posting high quality content and applying some technicalities at back end. However, it constitutes only around 30% as a part of total earnings. When you choose blogging as your career, you are actually targeting the entire world to get benefited with. Therefore, if the object is that huge, you need to take care of every bit coming out from your way.Studying the biographies of professional bloggers and applying them in our career, here are15 must-avoided things that you need to know as a blogger to save your business from getting effected with mistakes that might be a part of your attitude!

1. You are Not Perfect-Admit that

A noticeable fact that is common in most of the newbie bloggers is that they assume that owning a platform of their own (blog) gives them a license to declare themselves as perfect. However, people like to identify with what they read and if you would sound perfect, they could hardly identify with something that is perfect.

2. Don’t Sound Common

Your readers expect you to have your unique style that keeps them bounded. Once you realize what uniqueness you have to offer your readers, you will see that there wouldn’t be any competitors ultimately. Turn your blog special for those are following it so that they stick to their choice.

3. Countless Lame Mistakes

As a sole owner and manager of you blog, committing mistakes like typing errors, spelling mistakes, forgetting to link the posts, etc are common blunders that always have a room of acceptation. However, a success person is the one who identifies his mistakes, admits it, learn from it and try never to repeat. If you are busy blogger who types around 2,000 words a day and cannot take care of petty things, then you can always ask your friends to proofread your documents.

4. Life Without Priorities

It’s a pity that the new bloggers start hoping for the comeback, as big as the pro-bloggers enjoy after years of investment. This is wrong, absolutely. The fact is bitter but you need to take it that your blog needs time to make its position, stable enough to start earning. You must list down your priorities and make your schedule accordingly, making sure that other important things are not neglected with your no-earning-blog!

5. ‘I Will Do It Myself’- attitude

Although the thought of doing this is contrary to the basic theme of entrepreneurship, but you see, as a human, it is unlikely that you do all tasks yourself with perfection. Try of hiring an assistants that can do 60% of your work while sharing only 10% of the revenue been generated.

6. Running behind the most common trends

As a blogger myself, I completely understand the idea of searching latest news and writing all about them. That’s a good practice indeed, but only when you are too quick to be among the top 20s’ to break it. what you might have noticed that writing for things that are way too common decreases the chances that your readers would love to read about things they already know. Always try to be initiative with coming up something new

7. Hold On to things- take it to heart!

Just like you have all the liberty to use your blog to post anything the way you want, the same freedom is enjoyed by people around the world, who might be your competitors. It happens sometimes that you find people talking about you negatively on their blogs, let it be. You are famous enough to enjoy rumors, take it this way.

8. NO Coherency

When you have taken blogging as your career, then you must invest your business communication skills in your business as well. Coherency literally means that all your points must make sense with the actual theme of your paragraph. This is a good way to keep the readers bound with your content. This is something that would not only help you in blogging but in anything you do which is related to writing.

9. Sound immature

Why on earth your readers would read your content when several other posts are available those are just a click away? Did you ever ask this to yourself? If not, then you better do! No matter which business you start your career with; you need to build credibility for your business and especially for your persona so that you become people’s priority rather than their option. Be professional; do not sound cheesy or too childish. You are addressing people of all ages, so keep that respect in your content that please people of all ages.

10. Take it too seriously

I have been a true example of taking it too high initially. What new bloggers do is, they keep on checking their emails after every half an hour or so to check out the current happening, as if something important would be waiting there to be replied on urgent basis. Creating a hype of anything is of no use, keep that in mind.

11. Panic with Blog Statistics

As discussed in the point 10, you need to have some patience while dealing with your blog’s statistics. As a blogger you need to absorb this fact that your business is not only dependent on your product or your service, but it is highly related to the demand and the mercy of search engines. Your blog’s statistics may be a fluctuating one, don’t worry about it, until and unless the overall earnings suffer.

12. Give your posts an Emo-touch

The World is made up different people with different school of thoughts, some might be too realistic, some might be too emotional, however, do not ever let your emotions be reflected in your posts. This is a disaster in a writer’s career. Talk on general terms; never give your example that is related to an emotional touch.

13. NO Life!

Are you a dedicated blogger? Do you spend all your time on writing the posts? Don’t you do anything apart from writing for your blogs? If yes, then a bad news is, your blog is going to suffer really bad in coming days. What makes me say this is the fact that the more your write, the more your mind becomes saturated! Try reading novels, watching movies, keeping a track of news bulletin so that your vocabulary is refreshed and updated along with its excessive usage.

14. Neglecting Family

A 100% guaranteed fact is that if your personal life is not peaceful, then you can hardly do anything in your professional life. To avoid the severe repercussion, learn to lead a balanced life, keeping both, the family and the business simultaneously smooth. You will see your business excelling then.

15. Doubting Your Potentials

This point deserves to be on number 1 on the basis of its significance, however, its number 15 here so that we leave you with a thought that would keep there in your mind, longest. The moment you raised question about your potential, your business comes to an end then and there. There are possibilities that may be the direction you chose is slightly different as the one that might have worked out for you, but that doesn’t means that you don’t have the skills to tackle the situation. Have complete faith on yourself and your hard work, believing that fruitful results would soon be achieved.
So you see, blogging is all about reshaping your life with a completely new aspect of visualizing things. Becoming a desirable blogger consumes so much of hard work, not only in technical terms but you also need to give special attention to your entire persona. Try relating things with your story and learn lessons from them.
All the best!

Strategies To Get The Most From Article Marketing

Strategies To Get The Most From Article Marketing
Article marketing is one of the many ways you can increase traffic and backlinks to your blog. It can be an excellent way to get a website started in Search engines. Over the years, I’ve been able to accomplish awesome look for website optimization Results with article marketing for a coordinator of service companies and info-product sites. And today, I will share some of my experiences with you so you can better understand why you should use article marketing. Here are 5 tips on how to get the most out of your article marketing efforts:

1. Headlines

As you might know, headlines are essential in almost any published interaction, whether it is a sales page or articles. When running a blog, a headline is either extremely powerful, or search term wealthy, or both. But if you have to choose between the two, go with what exactly is powerful to individuals first. A short article that gets read and attached to is more useful than a post with a keyword-packed name that gets ignored.
When posting articles to internet directories, headlines are still essential, but you are now composing for a little different audience. While you were composing for people before, now you are composing for marketers first. And the existing mind-set among the individuals most likely to post your articles is that key terms issue most. So you concentrate on them just like you would on any other article. Write the most compelling name you can, but it absolutely must consist of eye-catching key terms.

Don’t feel like you need to aim for the most popular search term blends related to the topic; there can be basically too much competitors. Think Lengthy Tail instead. Do market research and discover excellent market blends. This is what marketers are looking for, and keeping marketers satisfied will create your article marketing efforts more successful.

2. Resource Box

An excellent article with a bad resource box is a waste of your energy and ability. Various articles submission sites have varying requirements for how much information can be placed in your resource box, or “byline.” There are also particular guidelines regarding how many backlinks can be present, and how they can be partitioned.
Carefully evaluate the guidelines, and utilize every web link opportunity that is permitted. If three hyperlinks are allowed, then add three hyperlinks to your resource box. There should be at least one backlink to your website using anchor-text for relevant key terms and words. For example, I might backlink to my website with the anchor-text web copy writing. It’s sensible to differ the anchor-text you use a little bit every once in a while, and you may even web link sometimes with “click here” or other more natural words. Simply duplicating your preferred key terms and words in your anchor-text again and again will likely work against you in Google’s eyes.
Leave at least one web link in the full http://www.yoursite.com structure. Why?
Inexperienced blog owners or marketers may unintentionally fall short to effectively structure your anchor-text web link, making you link-less. Plus, e-mail writers who post in plain published text cannot assistance anchor-text hyperlinks, so you want to create sure you always preserve a fool-proof web link. No web link, no value.
Also, when styling the http://www.yoursite.com web link, never put a period at the end of a URL. In some circumstances that can cause the web link to break. I basically try to never put the URL at the end of a phrase.

3. Write 2 small articles better than 1 long post

Conventional running blog wideness says that shorter content is better, and with “link and opinion” type content, that is true. But there happens to be increasing activity among resource-oriented weblogs toward longer, more helpful content.
With articles, it’s essential that they remain short. There are two excellent reasons for this.
One, never ignore the writers resource box. Your objective is for people to see who you are and visit your website. While you need to provide some powerful value in your article, it is a means to an end. Otherwise, your articles is offering more value to the index (and their AdSense ads) than to yourself.
Two, the key to effective article marketing is amount. If you normally create long articles, go forward and create them that way. Then divide the produced articles into two or more articles of 250 to 500 terms.
The greater part of writers who post articles to the internet directories deliver in less than 10, then stop because the outcomes are not frustrating. You basically cannot get outcomes with that few articles. I’ve been able to get achievement in the look for engines with as little as 20 articles, but the more you post, the better your results. Volume is the simple key behind effective article marketing, but most individuals basically do not create it over the problem.
Here’s a sign that will help you come up with thoughts. Browse around an articles directory in the groups that are appropriate to your topic. See what others are writing about. Now, put your own whirl on some of those articles. You can always find a new position. Remember, there can be nothing truly new under the sun, but there can be a thousand ways to tell a tale.

4. No duplicate Content

If you are running a blog, it’s very appealing to basically post your content to the directories. I keep away from this. I think it’s controversial that Google will concentrate on you for having articles on your website that is also released elsewhere, but there is definitely some risk.
From a realistic viewpoint, basically having what you weblog republished can harm you with individuals who simply click through from your writers resource box. When I study an excellent directory articles, and then simply click though to the weblog only to see the identical content, I keep. Reasonable or not, I’m not sensation the value of investing time there.
Anecdotally, I’ve basically had the best outcomes when there is no replication of content. Often I will enhance a free resource, such as a guide or other articles that is provided by e-mail. The articles targeted visitors the resource and help it rank in Google, and I get an opportunity to start a persistent connection with that guest. The distributed article was the first exclusive step in developing that relationship.

5. Copywriting Issues

Your articles cannot basically be a marketing or message for whatever you are selling. Actually, even your writer’s resource box should not be throwing the purchase. An article is an entrance that allows you to be able to begin a conversation with a prospective prospect.
Publishing lots of articles that backlink to your concentrate on website or weblog will help you in Google. However, to really get the most out of article marketing, you need to turn articles visitors into immediate visitors.
To do that, you need a powerful title, and a smash hit starting paragraph. From there, your content should cause people step-by-step, sentence-by-sentence, to your source box, where the proactive approach is such that the audience presses through onto your pitch. Studying primary and innovative copywriting methods will increase your overall promotion efficiency by leaps and range.

Must Follow Guide To Become A Smart Blogger

10 Must Follow Guide To Become A Smart Blogger
Blogging is not about having a Google account and building up a free domain blog with blogger and posting any garbage on your blogs, No! In fact, being an entrepreneur is itself a multitasking, and when you choose blogging as your business, your responsibilities are doubled. As a blogger you have to fulfill two duties at the same time, first, mainly ensuring some decent earnings to meet up your living and secondly becoming most reliable source available on Internet for your readers.
However, what I have been coming across since my blogging journey started is, every single person, having an account on Google, creates a blogspot.com blog and calls him a blogger. There are certain ethics that are compulsory to follow when you are addressing readers from all around the world on your blog. It’s a fact that none of us can be a perfect writer, but what we can do to improve our level of writing is-to try; Try to meet up the basic requirements of a standard, well-written article.
Here are easy 10 tips that you will surely find useful in earning much more credibility for your content, from your readers. There is no technicality in these tips and are related to common linguistic, grammatical and silly mistakes.

1.  Make your point clearer to yourself first!

This lacks most of the time when you read a difficult, out of interest post on big sites and feel like sharing it on your blog too. For example, imagine the disaster I would create if I plan to write on Typhoid Vaccine, being a Computer Engineer. What happens is, sometimes the post we are targeting to, is totally out of our own niche. It is always a good practice to first understand the entire story yourself before you start writing about it. If you find one link difficult, explore more about it, you will get a place where things will be simpler to understand. Once you know what you have to write about, you will experience an internal command which will reflect your post externally.
When you have something to share with others then you must start with reading the matter, making notes and choosing your subjects wisely.

2. Right to-the-point

Bloggers, who know the importance of an ideal word count, suffer here the most. It’s true that your post’s length contributes a lot in Google search business, however, what good it would bring you if your potential reader is brought to your blog by search engines and he finds your post like a puzzle and straight away switches over to some other blog? See, Your readers want you to share the information as specifically as possible. Do not elaborate more than it’s actually required.
Your writing must be specific. You must write specific sentences as this will makes your writing more interesting.

3. Be Simple rather than being difficult

Your blog is equally visited by people with good vocabulary as well as people who do not have a command on strong vocabulary. Its evident that your readers are in no mood to consult dictionary always while reading your posts. Use simple words that can easily be read, pronounced and understood by your readers.

4. Work on Sentence building

Write short sentences, this lowers the chance of forgetting the grammar; secondly, your reader stays connected with your post in that way.

5. Difference between Active Passive Voice

I expect you to remember that these were the things taught to you in your secondary school. Utilize your knowledge to produce sentences in an active voice. For example, build sentences like, “I Write for Smart earning methods” rather than the passive voice, such as, “the posts on Smart earning methods are written by me.”

6. Adopt Short Para-technique

Keep your paragraphs short, this keeps the reader engaged in your content without making him bored. You need to understand that you are not writing a comprehenshion or a story, your post is read as an article. Avoid writing too long paragraphs and give reasons in points rather than stating all of them in a paragraph.

7. Choose Powerful words

Using words like very small, too large, etc. leaves an immature sense in your posts. Always use decisive words like Tiny, Great, Huge, etc.

8. Speak Only for Things you know

I have witnessed pride in many bloggers, who often show that in their posts; giving readers an impression that it is their blog and they can write anything they wish to. However, This makes them suffer the most. Always talk about things you are sure about so that readers start believing you and thus, become your regular readers.

9. Do Not Repeat

It happens sometimes that either to increase the word count or to give emphasis to a particular reason, bloggers often keep on revolving on a same point. It leaves a negative impression on readers, try not to repetitive in your posts. Keep them fresh.

10. Avoid Over writing

Once you follow the above stated nine points, you will see that there will be no need to point 10 to be implemented. Over writing your posts leaves an impression about you that you are a confused writer, who is not a man of his words. People slowly notice it and unfollow your blog.
That was all for now, hope these quick, yet effectives work out for you in giving you a professional touch as a blogger!

Killer Tips To Become A Pro-Blogger and Make Money

Most of my readers are bloggers and while monitoring the comments, I have come across questions and queries that although some bloggers work really serious to make money with their blogs but still, opting this way to become rich is not turning out to be a big one. However, I have seen people turning into bloggers and getting rich in no time and the only ingredient they put in their strategies will be discussed today.
There is no doubt about the fact that there is a long list of successful bloggers that are making huge amounts on monthly basis just with this talent. Each day about 100s of newbie are looking forward to meet up their earnings with it too.
Today we will discuss some tips that are a “must have ingredient” in a blogger. This article reveals some undeniable facts about why you can’t make money with effective blogging.

1. Focusing on the goal intensively:

The more you focus on the goal, the more you are to drift away from it. Staying focused is not bad but trying too hard might be harmful for your goal. Earning money should not be the sole aim of your blog. Earning profit is indeed one of the aims but it should not over rule your enthusiasm to achieve your goal. Your primary focus should be on building a successful blog rather than gaining profits. Once you will master all the process of successful blog building, you will surely be a hit!

2. Making money overnight:

when people talk about getting results quickly, the only thing I land up with is the following qoute:
“I often hear people say that the Rich Dad Company is an overnight success and I think it is a fact; but it took us ten years to get there.Robert Kiyosaki
Making money overnight is not tough. You can always opt for lotteries! The toughest part is to maintain that big hit position for long which can only be achieved through hard work and some patience. If you take a closer look at the pro-bloggers with an average of $5000 and above monthly, you will realize what it took them to be what they are today.

3. Discipline:

To succeed in blogging, you need to be disciplined. You have to set your priorities and stick to them. Everyday bloggers keep changing their monetization policies or they keep increasing their work load rather than increasing the quality of their work. Don’t go for shortcuts! Bring about some discipline if you want to succeed.

4. Laziness kills:

Most bloggers, these days, are simply lazy. They would rather surf the internet for money making schemes than writing good stuff for their blogs. They just dream about becoming the next pro-bloggers but will rarely take the pain to write up articles. So get rid of the laziness and lame excuses and start working!

5. You are spending money wrongly:

One of the main problems bloggers face is that of budget allocation. Most bloggers spend money on frivolous things; rather than the important things. If a tool is not going to increase your profit or efficiency in the short or long run; forget about it and invest in the little things that matter. Stop spending money on frivolous things!

6. Being a pro-blogger is beyond your reality:

If you can’t see yourself a pro-blogger, you will never become one. No matter how hard you work, firstly you have to believe that you can. You are what you think you are. So, to be a pro-blogger, you will have to think like one!
this was all for now, just reading such articles are simply a waste of time IF you don’t follow and apply these really worth adopting tips in your blogging career
stay blessed!

Give The Life To Your Old Posts And Increase Your Page Ranks

Give A Life To Your Old Posts And Increase Your Page Ranks
It’s a fact that with time, we forget a lot of things, good memories, bad memories and things we read. Now if you see from a blogger’s point of view, the articles that once turned out to be a very successful one slowly lose their charm with the passage of time. A good article is just like an asset for a blogger which he should always keep alive.
When you recycle your real gems, you actually increase your page Rank. While I was going through my hit posts, I was wondering how to keep them involve in my present and I found some great ways to grab some more popularity for my best shots. Being too devoted to my readers, I am here to share what I learnt to make more money and popularity with old posts that once did a huge business for you.

1. Update – re-share – enjoy!

Some of you might think that old posts hardly have any charm left to attract the readers, which is somehow true. Now you need to put in some efforts to add some happening ingredient to your old post and republish it, using creative headlines to drag a considerable traffic.
Done with it? Good enough now promote it on social media like tweeting and liking on twitter and Facebook.

2. Cross link your Posts

This is what I try to do most of the time. Make it a practice to link your old posts in your articles, which is never too difficult. The only thing you need to make sure that it’s a related topic. For example, if you wish to recycle an old post on “How to use make money by writing articles for Blogs”, then perhaps you could write a new post on “How to increase the blog page Rank by writing Articles” and place a link to the initial post. This will lower website’s bounce rate.

3. Use Related post below post:

You must have seen a “related post” widget on good sites isn’t it? What is it for? It actually promotes old blogs that are actually related to the published post. Just like ours, if you own a multi-author blog you can also consider adding more posts via author widget after post, which is again helpful to get more views on old posts.

4. Use Slideshows

Slideshows have always been eye- catching for the visitors. Think about a slide show widget placed at the sidebar which prompts about some great and the popular old posts. There are loads of free and easy to use sideshow applications like Flickr Slideshow. You can also highlight your hottest old posts under the heading “Most Read” or “Most Popular for 2015”. Don’t forget to link them.

5. Write a Response Post

Along with time, the reliability of the old articles which were once on the top list can decrease or change completely. You can then plan something to write in response to those posts. You can define the new updates, talk about the changes and highlight the significance of things by referring to your post
No one can deny the “old is gold” strategy and you should make a use of your best pieces because things that did business for your yesterday can always bring more for you tomorrow if and only if, you know what, where and how to bring effective changes.

To place Ads at a good position can also make your account full with bugs. As per my experience with adsense, you should display ads at the bottom of post title and at the ending of your post. Showing ads in the middle of post can boost your earnings too much, but if your CTR gets too much high it also be a big problem. So if you can manage ads in between post’s paragraphs, you should use “Ad Injection” Plugin to display ads.
